The last online daily booking slot is at 4.30pm. (3.30pm Oct-Mar)

The Castle closes at 6pm (5pm Oct-Mar)

The Bailey Car Park closes at 6pm. (Sat- Sun at 5pm Oct-Mar) 

 

Payments for admissions can be made on arrival by card payment only. But to guarantee your visit and make a saving Please book online. On arrival you will be asked for your name and booking reference. This  helps manage numbers, limit queuing and reduce contact for a more enjoyable and relaxed experience.

Self-guiding one-way route. Takes up to an hour and a half around the ancient castle. Helpful signage will allow for social distancing. There is no time limit in the grounds.

Keep hands clean. Installation of hand sanitising stations are on-site for visitors and staff.

Payments. No cash will be accepted - contactless payments only.

Dogs. are allowed on a short lead within the Castle. The only exceptions are the Tearoom & Shop. Please make sure you clean up if there are any accidents and please make sure they do not pee on the grass. Dogs are also allowed within our woods but please keep them on a lead

Car Parking. Can be booked online with your Castle booking.

 

Please Note: there is no wheelchair access to the castle.
