Last online daily booking slot is at 3.30pm.             

Last admission at 4pm, the Castle closes at 5pm.    

Bailey Car Park closes at 6pm.  (Sat- Sun at 5pm from October to March)

Payments for admissions can be made on arrival by card payment only. But to guarantee your visit and make a saving please book online. On arrival you will be asked for your name and booking reference. This  helps manage numbers, limit queuing for a more enjoyable and relaxed experience.

Self-guiding one-way route. Takes up to an hour and a half around the ancient castle. Free illustrated tour sheets are available in ten languages.

Payments. No cash will be accepted - contactless payments only.

Dogs are allowed on a short lead within the Castle. The only exceptions are the Tearoom & Shop. Please make sure you clean up if there are any accidents and please make sure they do not pee on the grass. Dogs are also allowed within our woods but please keep them on a lead

Car Parking. Can be booked online with your Castle booking or pay the attendant on arrival.  Sat nav BD23 1UA
