COVID-19 Statement

The health and wellbeing of our staff and visitors is a priority. Please take a moment to take note of how we are providing a safe environment to welcome visitors.

Whilst the government have removed all restrictions, we will continue to follow UK industry and government updates based on the latest advice. With that in mind, our COVID-19 statement and risk assessments will continue to be reviewed and updated.

Please therefore be aware that some of the information you receive at the time of booking may have changed by the time your visit takes place.

To do this a risk assessment has been completed which identifies possible risks, and the measures we can put into place to reduce the risk.  We have implemented a number of procedures to reduce the risk of infection, and to demonstrate to our visitors that we offer a safe visitor experience

These include:

• Several hand sanitising units on site, for staff and visitors
• Installing protective screens around our till areas. Ensuring each department is clean and where required, PPE is provided for staff
• Signage to inform visitors of our continuing safety measures throughout the Castle
• On-line booking system for visitors, with time slots which control the number of visitors allowed inside the Castle
• A self-guiding one-way route around the Castle. 
• Face masks / coverings are welcome but not required.
• Enhanced cleaning of facilities & high touch areas.
