Location and Parking

Skipton Castle is one of the best preserved and most complete medieval castles in England, despite enduring a three-year siege in the Civil War. 

Arts courses and Workshops are held in the 16th Granary situated within the castle grounds.

Unfortunately there is no parking at the castle, but town centre car parks are available nearby, Coach Street (BD23 1EU) long stay, about 10 minutes walk along the Springs Canal towpath and The High Street (BD23 1AA) only 5 minutes away but more expensive. 

Parking is plentiful and free in the evenings.
